It is 6am now

It is 6am now and I'm writing the blog now. Why?? I have been expressing milk since 5.30am and going to fall asleep soon. Today is the second day since I return to work. Not sure if I can continued with this till Kesler is 6mths old. Alston is now taking over Kesler's midnight feed. However, I going to do that for the next 3 weeks when he is going South Africa. Hmmm.. I must find a way to express and bottlefeed Kesler at the same time...or else I'll have excuse to stop expressing milk.
Oh no! The milk flow keep coming in. Sometimes I do hope the milk flow has stop and I can find excuse to stop and go to sleep. How I wish I can go back to sleep now! Bad Mummy!

Milestone - Kesler starts trying to talk

On Fri, Kesler starts making the "A", "Ah" sound when I talk to him. It is like he trying to communicate with me. He has also start making these sounds when he is hungry. I guess he has change his way of communication. Good progress!

I going back to work tomorrow!

My maternity leave has ended this Mon and I have extended it till Fri. I going back to work tomorrow! Surely will miss Kesler then. I still pin my hope on Fri million TOTO draw. If I can win a million, I can stay at home with Kesler. In the end, I did not even won a single cent. It's all daydreaming and I have to face the reality and DRAG myself to work tomorrow.

Kesler's 1st swim in the bathtub

Finally, I got my new keyboard. The old one was spoilt.  "g", "h", "f & "t" are not working. The worst is that the space bar is not working. No way am I going to write the blog with the on-screen keyboard. Thus, this blog has been in the draft status with photos only for days.

Last week, we brought a neck float for Kesler thinking that we can let him swim in our bathtub instead of going to baby spa which is so EX. In order to save water, I came out with a "BRILLANT" idea that is get Daddy to go into the bathtub too. Water displacement theory!
We did save a bit of water but Kesler did not have enough space to swim. All he can swim is in a less than a meter space. He is not afraid of the water at all. He started kicking once in the water. His vigorous kicking caused him to start to have hiccups. The more he kicks, the louder it gets. We immediately take him out of the water after 10 mins to "save" him from hiccups.
Next time, we would do it without Daddy in the water so that Kesler has more space to display his "kicking power".

Kesler learning to filp

Kesler has been trying to flip since last week. It is another milestone for him and we should be happy. However,it is quite dangerous as he can only flip his body and not his head. Then he will get very fustrated, attempting to turn his head over vigorously. He almost made it and have his entire face on the bed a few times. This is so dangerous! We have move him to sleep with me since last week and poor daddy has to sleep on a mattress on the floor. I think we need to find a solution to this......

Kesler's new hairstyle.......BOTAK!

We've decided to use Kesler's hair to make a hairbrush long ago but we just can't bear to shave off his gorgeous hair. The weather is getting hotter. It's time to bring Kesler for a haircut. Last Sat, we brought him to HUAXIA TAIMAOBI to shave off his hair to make the hairbrush...

Back to home sweet home...

Since Kesler can't sleep at my mum's house, I proposed to my mum that she come over to my house instead.
Guess what! She told me that her block is doing lift upgrading starting March! She should have told me earlier so that Kesler won't even need to go over to her house and suffer for 3 days! Thus, my mum will be going to come over to my house instead from yesterday onwards.
Kesler still get a bit cranky yesterday at our house but he manage to get a good 5 hours sleep in the day. Hope he can get back to normal soon...

Kesler can't sleep at Grandma's place.

Since I going to start work on 21st, I've start bringing Kesler to my Mum's place since Monday. He can play,drink his milk there but he just CAN'T SLEEP. Usually Kesler can sleep for around 10 hrs in the day and he hasn't slept for more than 15mins for the past 2 days and today.
See how tired he is....

2nd Vaccination on CNY day 3

We brought Kesler for his 2nd vaccination on CNY day 3 as it is a Sat. As it is CNY, there is not much ppl. We waited for around half an hr. Dr Keoy check if Kesler's neck is strong by holding his chest as if Kesler is flying. Surprisingly, Kesler hold his head up high! He is unable to do that when we put him on his tummy. Dr Keoy said his head might be too heavy or he is just too lazy and will hold it up for a few seconds only. However his neck is consider very strong now. Kesler is not scared of injection, just like me! He will only cry for a few seconds and will be ok when you carry him.
He is always so happy after his vaccination?!

Kesler's 1st CNY

We went to 4 places on the 1st day of CNY. So tired... Our poor Kesler couldn't sleep the whole day but he has collected lots of ang baos!

Kesler's 1st Ya Sui Qian

I've been giving ang bao for the past 4 years. It is not a new thing. However, it does feel different when you give ang bao to your own child. The feeling is very hard to describe. I believe all parents feel the same too.

Hope that Kesler will always be healthy and happy!

Our 1st DSLR

We have been hesitating to get a DSLR ever since I was pregnant. FINALLY, we made up our mind to get one! We went down to Funan last Sunday and the carpark was full and we had a hard time getting an empty slot. To make matter worse, my boy poo and we have to find a corner to clean him up.
After we got the DSLR, my hubby start practising and keep snapping. Some photos turn out quite gd but some are real bad. I think my hubby need to complete reading the instruction manual 1st but the instruction manual is about an inch thick! Wonder when he can ever finish reading that?

Kesler's Milestones

Kesler is now 3mths old. He is progressing quite well and we do get surprises from him now and then. :)
Below is his milestones:

1st mth

Shows satisfaction after each feed

Eyes follow my fingers when I put my hand at close distance

Hicups and lots & lots of Hicups...which sound very funny like a toy...

Like to move his hands and kicks fequently which sometimes cause him to vomit. :(

Like to stick out his tongue.

Able to hold his milk bottle?!

2nd mth

Start to smile wider and WIDER!

Know that his name is Kesler and will turn to look at u when u call his name.

Double eyelid on his right eye has appear.

1st tummy time!

Start to have nightmare and will cry in his sleep.

3rd mth

Able to recognise the camera. Will get very excited and smile for the shoot.

Start laughing and making sound like "hee" and "a"

Start to laugh in his sleep

Start to drool and blow bubbles with his saliva

Like to "admire" his fist.

Able to reach out for his musical mobile

Able to kick the pad on his activity gym which will light up and play music when he kicks on it

Start to lick his fist and suck his fingers

Like to pose like preparing for a fight.

Able to sit quietly in the car seat and fall asleep without a pacifier. Gd boy!

Able to hold his head up for a few seconds.

Finally his double eyelids on both his eyes has appear!
